The Needlework And Textile Guild Of Michigan
The Needlework and Textile Guild of Michigan is a multidisciplinary fiber-art guild. The purpose of the guild is to bring together members who learn, share, teach, and participate in workshops, talks, and demonstrations relating to a wide variety of the fiber arts. Members have interests ranging from quilting and embroidery to weaving, wearable art, beading, and art dollmaking. Speakers are locally and nationally-recognized.
There is major road construction on Adams Road, with one lane open for northbound traffic only. Both the entrance and exit driveways are now open. Drive especially slowly and turn before the street sign for Westview Road on the left.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, starting at 9:30 AM, at St. Stephen Episcopal Church, 5500 N. Adams Rd., Troy, MI. [View Map] Guests are welcome to attend morning meetings ($5 guest fee).
Yearly dues are $50 (prorated after January).
Workshops are open to guests when space is available, with an addition fee of $5 per each half day of class length.
